Kaizer Chiefs have dipped into the transfer market to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

Sports Brief takes a closer at the Amakhosi’s latest signings.

Thatayaone Ditlhokwe

A highly-rated defender, Ditlhokwe is a centre-back who can also play left-back.

Having played 87 games for SuperSport United, the defender will don the Amakhosi kit next season. He will remain at Chiefs until 2027 and will wear jersey number 24.

Speaking ahead of his move last month, TT said he wanted to grow as a player, win trophies, and compete in continental football, Goal reported.

Spiwe Given Msimango

Another player who will bolster the Amakhosi’s backline, Msimango signed for the club from TS Galaxy.

Msimango played 75 games for The Rockets and even netted four goals for the side.

As noted by The South African, Chiefs beat out rivals Orlando Pirates to Msimango’s signature. The defender has signed for Chiefs on a four-year deal, and will take jersey number 25.

Mduduzi Mdantsane

Chiefs also raided Cape Town City to bring in Mduduzi Mdantsane.

The 28-year-old represented the Amakhosi during his development days and will return to the club on a three-year deal. Mdantsane will wear the number three jersey.

As noted by iDiski Times, Mdantsane scored 21 goals and notched up seven assists in 109 games for City during his time at the club.

Pule Mmodi

A highly-sought after talent, Mmodi will make his way from KwaZulu-Natal to Gauteng after agreeing to move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Mmodi has signed a three-year deal with the Amakhosi and will wear the number 13 after moving from Lamontville Golden Arrows. He scored 16 goals in 92 games for Abafana Bes'thende, catching the eye of many teams.

His move to Chiefs was a bit of a surprise, though, as Sowetan LIVE reported that he did it behind his agent’s back.

Ranga Piniel Chivaviro

Chiefs have also unveiled their new number seven, Ranga Piniel Chivaviro.

The striker bagged 10 goals for Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership last season and was spotted training at the Naturena.

A lethal striker, Chivaviro’s case is a curious one as Richards Bay claimed to have signed the player from Gallants first. As noted by The South African, owner, Jomo Biyela claimed they signed the striker on a two-year deal.

Edson Daniel Castillo Garcia

The Amakhosi have also brought some international flair ahead of the new season.

The club announced that they have also signed Venezuelan international, Edson Daniel Castillo Garcia. The South American was signed from Monagas SC and will arrive in the country soon.

A central midfielder, Castillo has played over 200 games at club level and will bring his experience to the country now. As noted by Transfermarkt, he scored 11 goals in 46 games for Monagas SC.
