- The club has announced their switch from current supplier Duneus
- It is believed the new deal is the result of captain Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo has garnered widespread praise following the news that his team, Al-Nassr, have secured a significant kit sponsorship agreement with renowned American sportswear manufacturer, Nike.
The Riyadh-based club officially announced the partnership on July 2 through their social media platforms.
The collaboration is set to take effect during their upcoming Japan Tour at the end of the month.
It is worth noting this is not the first time that the nine-time Saudi Arabian champions have teamed up with Nike, as they previously enjoyed a similar partnership between 2010 and 2012.
Al-Nassr kit suppliers' history
Al-Nassr's traditional kit colours consist of yellow and blue, with their home kit primarily yellow with blue accents, and their home kit mostly blue.
Throughout the years, the Knights of Nahd have been associated with various manufacturers, including Nike, New Balance, Victory, and their current manufacturer, Duneus, per Footy Headlines.
Starting this month, they will revert back to Nike - a deal which has been credited to Ronaldo's star power.
He doubles as one of the lead brand ambassadors for the sportswear company. According to the Mirror, the five-time Ballon d'Or recipient has been the face of the brand in football since 2003.
