Football“You Will Soon Have Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu”: Achraf Hakimi’s Friend Claims
- Kylian Mbappe has declined to extend his existing contract with PSG which is set to expire in 2024
- Real Madrid is eager to sign the Frenchman and is said to be closely monitoring his current situation
- A trusted companion of Mbappe's teammate Achraf Hakimi has further intensified the speculation
Morad, a Spanish-Moroccan rapper and a trusted confidant of Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi, has made a bold declaration about Kylian Mbappe's 'imminent' move to Real Madrid.
Speculations have been rife about the French superstar's potential transfer to Los Blancos, especially considering his PSG contract is set to expire next year.
Despite an assertion of being committed to playing for PSG in the upcoming season amid the transfer rumours, a close ally of Hakimi - Mbappe's best friend - is fuelling the speculation surrounding the 24-year-old's future in France.
Morad appears to have lifted the lid on the recent reports linking the Frenchman to Real Madrid.
“Don’t worry. You will soon have Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu,” Morad said, as quoted by Sportskeeda.
Mbappe recently informed PSG - via a formal letter - that he would not be exercising the one-year contract extension included in his current deal, leading to speculation the club would seek to sell him this season rather than potentially losing him for free next term.
Real Madrid slam Mbappe
However, according to Daily Post, Real Madrid will not pursue a summer transfer of Mbappe, as they perceive the situation to be 'financially constrained'.
The 24-year-old forward has created uncertainty regarding his future by stating he will not extend his current contract, which expires in June 2024.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Mbappe is seeking a massive payout of €240 million if he is to join another club ahead of the upcoming season.
