Havertz became the Gunners' first major signing of the summer after splashing over £65million to land his services.

According to Sportbible, the German ace penned a five-year contract at the Emirates Stadium, with the move ending his three-year stay with Chelsea.

Havertz joined the Blues from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2020 in a deal believed to be in the region of £71million.

Despite already adding the Germany international within their ranks, reports claim Arsenal are still looking to bring in more new signings in the coming days.

Which deals could Arsenal seal?

The Mirror reports that the 2022/23 Premier League runners-up are looking to wrap up at least four new deals in a week as they bid to topple Man City.

The publication claims deals for West Ham United star Declan Rice and Ajax defender Jurrien Timber are close and could even be wrapped up within the next 48 hours.

Arsenal are understood to be in a pole position to sign Rice after City backed down from the transfer race for the Englishman.

On his part, Timber is believed to have set his sights on moving to the Premier League with the north Londoners as he seeks a new challenge in his career.

Away from the two summer targets, Arsenal are keen to tie down key defender William Saliba and Reiss Nelson to new long-term deals.

Arsenal star hints at exit

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal youngster Folarin Bolagun has dropped the biggest hint yet on his imminent departure from the club.

The forward has widely been linked with a possible summer exit, with Mikel Arteta keen to cash in on him to raise funds for transfer targets.

The 21-year-old Arsenal academy graduate enjoyed a successful loan spell at Ligue 1 side Reims last season, netting an eyewatering 21 goals.
