Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Manchester United are now without any member of their last Premier League-winning season after David De Gea officially left the club yesterday.
De Gea helped the club win the 2012/13 Premier League title in his first and legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season.
United have not won the title again since then, coming second twice, both to rivals Manchester City, under Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Their best season since the Scottish departure was under Mourinho when they won the UEFA Europa League and the Carabao Cup in the Special One’s first season.
