  • PSG will look to secure the services of Rodrygo Goes
  • The Brazilian is valued at €100 million
  • The deal will sweeten Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid

Luis Enrique has repeatedly set his sights on Real Madrid forward Rodrygo as he plans to take over at Paris Saint-Germain.

Rodrygo joined Real Madrid from Brazilian side Santos in 2019 in a deal worth €45 million.

According to Sportskeeda, Enrique holds the Brazilian in high regard and is willing to pounce on the 22-year-old in a deal that would see Kylian Mbappe move the other way.

Former Real Madrid Paco Buyo, who is also a close friend of PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, confirmed Enrique's interest in Rodrygo.

He said via Madrid Xtra: "Luis Enrique likes Rodrygo a lot and PSG would like to include him in a deal for Mbappé but there is no possibility. Regarding a deal for Mbappé, Real Madrid will not exceed €150M."

Rodrygo left Brazilian side Santos to Real Madrid in 2019 in a deal worth €45 million.

He has since displayed moments of brilliance and appears to be in for a bright future, which explains why Los Blancos are reluctant to sell him.

The nimble-footed attacker has made 165 appearances for the club, scoring 37 goals and providing 32 assists.

Why Mbappe can't join Madrid

Yvan Le Mee, the agent representing Real Madrid defender, Ferland Mendy, has dismissed the possibility of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar, Kylian Mbappe, making a move to the Spanish giants.

The ongoing situation in Paris has reignited Real Madrid's interest in the French forward, despite his declining an offer to join the Spanish capital last year.

However, according to Le Mee, the much-discussed transfer of Mbappe to Los Blancos will not happen this summer.

PSG's huge Mbappe valuation

Sports Brief also reported on Real Madrid needing to break their current transfer record if they insist on signing Mbappe from PSG this summer.

The 24-year-old French forward has been a key target for Los Blancos, with president, Florentino Perez, confident they will sign the star shortly.

PSG slapped a €200mil price tag on Mbappe as they reportedly try to offload their disgruntled star, who still has one year left on his current deal.
