Reece James inadvertently exhibited his savage side after a brutal reply to a question linking him to London rivals Arsenal.
Chelsea, keen on balancing their books and squad, have been on a selling spree with several big names already departing the club.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Kai Havertz would join Arsenal, ending speculation about the German’s future.
A day later, Fabrizio Romano confirmed Mason Mount would be the latest Chelsea star to join a Premier League rival as the two clubs agreed on a £60 million deal.
Typically, with all the players that have exited from Chelsea, it only made sense that fans tried to guess who would be next.
A Twitter user, @_ambehi, attempted his luck by turning his dreams into a tweet as he posted a cheeky message saying, “Reece James to Arsenal, who says no?”
Reece James’ response
Against the odds, Reece James was actually on hand to respond to the message with a brutal three-word response, stating: “I say no”.
The reply on Thursday evening instantly went viral, as James earned plaudits from Chelsea fans for publicly exhibiting loyalty to the club.
Hours earlier, Reece James took to Kai Havertz's comment section with another savage comment in response to the German’s final message to Chelsea.
Havertz reflected on a three-year stint as a Blue, as he thanked fans for the memories, and in the comment section, hawk-eyed fans spotted a message from Reece James, who presumably reminded Arsenal fans that “He won us the Champions League.”
