Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru has posted adorable photos of himself hanging out with fellow Nigerian international John Ogu in Lagos to celebrate 2023, Eid Mubarak, with all Muslim faithful around the world.
After the completion of the 2022/23 League season in Europe and many parts of the world, many Nigerian players are back in the country and spending their holidays with their families and loved ones.
The likes of Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Ahmed Musa, and Shehu Abdullahi are also in the country and they will celebrate Sallah on Wednesday, June 28.
Although Sallah is an annual festival meant for Muslims, Christians also join them in the celebration most especially during the eating of meat.
According to the photos spotted on Twitter, Onyekuru was seen having an excellent time out with John Ogu.
Onyekuru missed Sierra Leone tie
In the Super Eagles' last game against Sierra Leone, Onyekuru was not invited for the game as Victor Osimhen netted a brace to help Nigeria win 3-2.
The win also gave the Super Eagles the ticket to feature in the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Meanwhile, Onyekuru could be invited to Nigeria's last qualifying game against Sao Tome.
Onyekuru joins Turkish Club Adana Demirspor
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles attacker Henry Onyekuru completed a season-long loan move to Turkish club Adana Demirspor.
The club announced the signing of the Nigerian international on their official Twitter account on Sunday, July 10, with a picture of the 25-year-old in the colours of the club.
