Despite burning bridges with Manchester United, Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, still remains friends with at least one player at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo remains close to defender, Diogo Dalot, with the two recently spotted on holiday together after linking up with the national team for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Along with their partners, the footballers took some time off the pitch to enjoy an expensive yacht cruise near the Italian island of Sardinia.
Ronaldo, the most followed human on Instagram, took to the photo-sharing platform to share the photos along with the caption 'Vacation mood'.
And in typical CR7 fashion, the former Real Madrid star also accompanied the vacation photos with snaps showing off his chiselled physique.
According to The Mirror, the yacht in question belongs to Ronaldo and is worth an estimated £5.5 million. The fact the Dalot was invited along goes to show their level of friendship, despite their age difference and the veteran's feud with his former club.
In November 2022, the Portuguese star all but severed ties with Man United after an interview with Piers Morgan where he slammed the club's facilities and its management.
Ronaldo’s admiration of Dalot
In the same interview, however, Ronaldo had nothing but positive things to say about Dalot.
He singled out his international teammate as 'one of the few individuals' within the squad who had a 'proper work ethic' and stated he would likely succeed as a footballer because of that.
Outstanding Cristiano Ronaldo records
Sports Brief also reported on several of Ronaldo’s records which could remain unbroken, including being Real Madrid's top goal-scorer with 451 strikes for the Spanish giants.
