Kenya are not better than us, Tanzania captain declares ahead of Group C AFCON clash
Tanzania national football team skipper Mbwana Samatta has revealed the team will plot victory against Kenya in their next Africa Cup of Nations Group C clash to turn around their campaign.
Taifa Stars suffered a 2-0 defeat to Senegal in their group opener and now face an uphill task of qualifying for the competition's next round.

Kenya, who suffered a similar fate in the hands of Algeria, are eyeing for Tanzania's scalp in their next fixture scheduled for Thursday, June 27.
However, Mbwana contends Tanzania will be not feeble opponents, asserting the team possess enough quality to damage Harambee Stars.
“On that game, I think we really need to prepare ourselves for it because I don’t think Kenya are much better than us,” he divulged to Goal.
“They are not like Senegal or Algeria so maybe it can be the game we can do something. They are tough opponent also, it is not going to be an easy game," he added.

The 26-year-old striker, however, believes it would take sufficient preparation to upset their East Africa neighbours.
“But we have to prepare well to earn points against them. And then see what we can do in our last game," he observed.
Tanzania, who made a return to the tournament after a 39-year absence, will battle Algeria in their last group tie on Monday, July 1.
