Super Falcons Star Rasheedat Ajibade Donates Over 100 Jerseys, Balls to Grassroot Players in Lagos

Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has paid a courtesy visit to his former club, FC Robo, in Lagos and donated over 100 jerseys, balls, and tracksuits to the current players playing for the side.

Most beneficiaries of these materials were young and talented players who are in the academy of the Mushin-based football team.

Staff and people around the football team were glad when Ajibade arrived at the school premises with the materials she brought as a gift according to the reports on Naija Footballer and Complete Sports.

When did Ajibade play for Robo?

The Atletico Madrid star played for Robo FC between 2013 and 2018 scoring nine goals. The 23-year-old has also expressed happiness to give back to the school that produced her.

”I’m honoured and delighted to be able to give back to my former club, Robo FC. The club paved the way for me in professional football.
“Now over 100 players and the entire staff of Robo FC will be kitted in jerseys and tracksuits by the RASH brand.''

Ajibade narrates how she bagged 2 degrees

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Rasheedat Ajibade, Super Falcons' main star at the just concluded Women's Africa Cup of Nations, understands the importance of education after narrating how she bagged her second degree during the lockdown.

Ajibade who has a degree in Accounting from Lagos State Polytechnic explained why she had to delay her move into professional football to get a second degree in Sports Psychology from Barca Innovation Hub.

Ajibade’s mother flew to Spain

Sports Brief also reported how an emotional video has emerged on social media where Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade was spotted breaking down in tears after seeing her mother surprisingly in the studio of her club in Spain.

The Nigerian footballer currently plays for Atletico Madrid, and those in charge of the club decided to surprise her by flying her mother to Spain to watch her without informing her.

Madam Ajoke is the mother of Rasheedat Ajibade and according to what she explained, that was the first time she traveled to Spain to watch her daughter.
