An Inter Miami fan was left disappointed after traveling over 1,200 miles to watch Lionel Messi make his debut for the Major League Soccer club.
Inter Miami played against Philadelphia Union at the Subaru Park in Chester, but the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was absent in the encounter as he is currently on vacation in Argentina.
According to AS Soccer, the supporter threw his sign away in disgust after failing to spot Messi on the field as Inter Miami were walloped 4-1 by Philadelphia Union.
