His Manchester City star father replaced the injured Kevin De Bruyne in the first half and was pivotal in securing a 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
The triumph was Man City’s first in the prestigious competition and helped complete a historic cup treble - the second for manager, Pep Guardiola.
