The Premier League has revealed the top five fastest players in the English top flight from the 2022/23 season.
Speed is widely regarded as one of the most important skill sets for any footballer, especially those playing in the most competitive leagues in the world.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea are among the teams that pride themselves on some of the paciest players in the Premier League.
According to The Mirror, Marcus Rashford is the fastest player at Manchester United, while Newcastle United have Allan Saint-Maximin as their paceman.
Be that as it may, Rashy and the likes of Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha, Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, and Man City's Erling Haaland did not make the cut for the fastest players in the EPL from the recently-concluded season.
EPL reveals five fastest players
According to a top five list compiled by the Premier League, using official tracking data, Liverpool superstar, Darwin Nunez and Chelsea flop, Mykhailo Mudryk are among the paciest players.
The Uruguayan had a mixed debut season in the English top flight following his blockbuster £85 million move from Benfica, managing just nine goals in 29 games for the struggling Reds.
While the forward failed to convert all the goal-scoring chances that came his way for the Anfield site, Nunez's speed is not in doubt, as he averaged 36.53km/h.
Mudryk, meanwhile, also endured his fair share of struggles with Chelsea after his stunning transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Despite his struggles, the Ukrainian's speed is one of his biggest attributes that could also help him supercharge his career at Stamford Bridge.

Mudryk's brightest game in a Chelsea shirt so far came in the 3-1 win over Leicester City. He helped himself to a goal and an assist, though the goal was later ruled out for offside.
As Sports Brief reported, he did a knee slide celebration, a possible tribute to Didier Drogba, who did the famous celebration on many occasions during his time at the Blues.
