According to Goal, PSG did put aside their differences with Messi by wishing a happy 36th birthday with a special video on Twitter to celebrate the Argentina superstar.

The 36-year-old was suspended for two weeks by PSG after an unsanctioned trip to Saudi Arabia, and when he returned, sections of the Parc des Princes booed him.

Messi has signed for David Beckham’s Inter Miami after turning down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and is expected to make his debut for the Major League Soccer side on July 21st.

Lionel Messi on World Cup win

Lionel Messi has revealed he has nothing left to achieve again in football after winning the World Cup following Argentina’s triumph in Qatar last December, SB Nation reports.

The 36-year-old forward captained his country to World Cup glory in Qatar in 2022 to ensure he has won absolutely everything the game has to offer.

Messi who holds the record for the most Ballon d’Or wins with six, has also won four UEFA Champions League titles and 10 La Liga trophies in his highly successful career.

The world celebrates Messi at 36

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that football fraternities worldwide have taken to social media on Saturday morning, June 24, to celebrate Argentina international Lionel Messi, who turned 36 and hailed him for his incredible career so far.

There is no doubt about the fact that Messi is one of the footballers who turned the game around positively, and he also made the sport gain more followership in many parts of the world.

Messi holds the records for most goals in La Liga (474), most hat-tricks in La Liga (36) and the UEFA Champions League (eight), and most assists in La Liga (192) and the Copa América (17).
