An awesome video has emerged on social media where Nigerians were spotted gathering to see Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who returned to the local house where he grew up in Lagos State.
Osimhen was born in Olusosun where he was made to do some menial jobs while growing up as means of survival before football eventually turned his story from grass to grace.
In the recently concluded season in Europe, Osimhen recorded his name in gold as he helped Napoli to win the Serie A title after 30 years.
The former Lille strongman also became the first African to win the Golden Boot award in the history of the Serie A.
Days after netting a brace for the Super Eagles in their 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in the African Cup of Nations qualifying game, Osimhen returned to Lagos.
What happened in Olusosun?
According to the video seen on Twitter, Nigerians were seen shouting the name of Osimhen when he arrived at Olusosun to say hello to them.
It was an emotional moment as fans were happy to see the Napoli superstar.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea and Man United interested in his services.

Osimhen grew up in the area and attended Olusosun Primary School during childhood.
Following his successful season after leading Napoli to the Italian Serie A, having scored 26 league goals, the forward returned home to reunite with his old pals.
