How the journey began for Wizkid

Wizkid began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five (5), a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.

In 2009, Wizkid signed a record deal with Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E). He later rose to the limelight after releasing "Holla at Your Boy", the lead single from his debut studio album.

Wizkid picks Ronaldo as the best

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Wizkid chose his favourite footballer between Argentine forward, Lionel Messi, and Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Over the years, there has been a serious tussle and rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi. Even fans of these two players engage in debates and arguments over who is better.

So far in their careers, these two wonderful footballers have won many titles at the club level and also for their national teams.

Messi, after many attempts, finally won the World Cup in the 2022 edition of the global competition in Qatar. It was an incredible moment for the former Barcelona captain.

Wizkid made it clear that although he does not watch football, he prefers Ronaldo ahead of Messi
