Mbappe future in major doubt after refusal to extend PSG contract

Christopher Nkunku has become the latest marquee player to sign for Chelsea. The French winger sealed a move from RB Leipzig to London on a six-year contract.
The deal, which was originally first agreed on as early as last year, cost the Blues around €52 million as they seek to improve their attacking options - an area that has been lacking in recent years.
In Nkunku, the club believes they have found the ideal man to alleviate their problems, with the 25-year-old becoming a fully-fledged star in Germany.
He won the country's Player of the Season in 2021/2022 before following it up with the Bundesliga's Golden Boot last season.
Nkunku becomes Mauricio Pochettino's first signing. The former Paris Saint-Germain star is expected to play as a striker, a winger, or a false number 9 - but what else can Chelsea fans expect?

FootballApart from his twinkle toes that enable him to get out of presses, Nkunku is expected to bring a new celebration with him to Stamford Bridge.
Over the years, Chelsea fans have seen many celebrations such as Didier Drogba's iconic knee slide, but their new acquisition has a different way of celebrating his goals.
In November last year, the forward scored in a UEFA Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk. He raced towards Leipzig fans, removed a balloon from his sock, and inflated it.
After the match, Nkunku revealed the balloon was a tribute to his two-year-old son.
"The balloon was for my son. He likes balloons," he said, as quoted by GMS.
He has since done the celebration a couple of times, including in his final game for Leipzig, where he starred as they won the DFB-Pokal.
Chelsea fans will be hoping Nkunku pulls out the ballon on several occasions throughout his six-year contract in West London.
