Manchester United’s bid to sign Neymar is set to suffer a major setback, with the Brazilian star now ready to remain at Paris Saint-Germain next season.
The 31-year-old forward has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, as PSG were contemplating offloading the former Barcelona star after Lionel Messi’s exit.
According to the Daily Mirror, PSG’s push to sign former Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique as the club’s boss next season has prompted Neymar to make a U-turn on his decision to leave.
The Brazil star and Enrique worked together at Barcelona, with the pair winning the treble for the Catalan giants in 2015, and the Brazilian is excited at the prospect of working with the former Spain boss again.
Neymar suffered a season-ending injury in March, forcing him to miss vital games for PSG during the run-in for the Ligue 1 title.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain captain, Marquinhos has revealed he would love Neymar to remain with the Ligue 1 champions next season, PSG Talk reports.
Marquinhos described the Brazil superstar as a 'great player' and would love to play alongside him at the Parc des Princes next season.
Neymar has been linked with a summer exit from PSG, with Manchester United and Chelsea interested in signing the 31-year-old forward to boost their respective squads next season.
