Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey has reportedly been granted permission to start talking with clubs in Saudi Arabia, following interest from the Gulf nation.

The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer. His agent is believed to be exploring interest from Saudi Arabia, with the Gunners ready to cash in on the former Atletico Madrid star.

According to 90 MIN, the Black Stars deputy captain has been given the green light by Arsenal to speak with clubs from the oil-rich nation.

Saudi Arabia are investing heavily in football by attracting huge stars to their league, having already signed Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

League side, Al-Hilal are also interested in the Chelsea trio of Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech, and Eduoard Mendy, as reported by The Guardian.

Wolverhampton midfielder, Ruben Neves, has sealed a move to the team while Ngolo Kante is reported to have agreed on a deal with Al-Ittihad.

Partey has been a mainstay at Arsenal since joining in 2020, playing a pivotal role as the Gunners finished second in the Premier League last season.

The Gunners are set to sign West Ham United captain, Declan Rice and Southampton star, Romeo Lavia, possibly as replacements for the Ghanaian.

Partey set to leave Arsenal

Previously, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian midfielder, Partey is close to leaving Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old is reportedly attracting interest from other clubs as the Gunners close in on signing West Ham's Declan Rice.

Southampton star, Romeo Lavia on also on the radar of the London club as possible replacement for the Ghanaian midfielder.

Partey celebrates 30th birthday

Sports Brief also reported on players of the Black Stars joining teammate, Partey in celebrating his 30th birthday.

The Arsenal star turned 30 on June 13 and was presented with a cake by the management of the Ghanaian team.

In a video shared on social media, Partey is seen with his teammates as he celebrated reaching the life milestone.
