A video has been spotted on social media where Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze were seen being restless in the final moments of the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
The Super Eagles were on Sunday, June 18, made to labour hard in Liberia before beating Sierra Leone 3-2 for them to qualify for the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Going into this game, Jose Peseiro and his men were tipped to record a win over their hosts, but the victory did not come easy as Kelechi Iheanacho had to score at the death.
Napoli man Osimhen put the Super Eagles in front with a brace, but the hosts restored parity in a contest which their fans thought would end in a 2-2 draw.
Osimhen and Chukwueze showed passion
Osimhen and Chukwueze watched the final moments of the match against Sierra Leone from the bench and could hardly be in their seats in the highly tense battle.
These two players were seen shouting and urging their teammates to get the win against Sierra Leone.
According to reports on Twitter and Pulse, Osimhen and Chukwueze dished out instructions from the dugout and they were happy after Iheanacho netted the winner.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is inching closer to Rashidi Yekini’s all-time goals record for the Super Eagles.
The 24-year-old Napoli of Italy striker netted a brace in Nigeria’s 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in a crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The victory confirms Nigeria’s place at the 2023 edition of the continental showpiece, which starts in Ivory Coast next January.
It was Osimhen’s 25th appearance for the Nigerian national team, having made his debut back in 2017.
