Nigerian superstar Asisat Oshoala was among the players used by reigning La Liga champions Barcelona to promote their 2023/24 kit.
The Super Falcons star was joined by a host of Barcelona superstars, including Ousmane Dembele, Pedri, Gavi, alongside two-time women’s Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas to model the jersey in the promotional video.
According to ESPN, the new Barcelona home kit for the 2023/24 season will stand as a tribute to their absurdly successful, record-breaking women's team.
The shirt itself, designed with the concept "Here to lead the way," sees the return of extra-wide Blaugrana stripes that are instantly reminiscent of Barcelona kits from the mid-2000s.
Barcelona Femini has become one of the most decorated teams in modern women's football, winning eight Liga F titles and two UEFA Women's Champions League titles, among other major honours.
Barcelona sign Senegal youngster Faye
Meanwhile, Barca Universal reports that Barcelona officially confirmed the signing of 18-year-old defender Mikayil Faye from NK Kustosija in Croatia.
The Senegalese youngster is set to join the Barça Atletic team for the time being. However, it has been reported that manager Xavi Hernandez wishes to keep a close eye on the teenager during the pre-season camp coming up next month.
Faye has signed a four-year contract with the reigning La Liga champions until the summer of 2027. The deal also consists of a mammoth €400 million release clause.
