Famous Nigerian comedian, Mr Macaroni was spotted in a hilarious interactive session with the Super Eagles of Nigeria earlier this week.

The Nigerian national team have a date with Sierra Leone in a crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier slated for June 18.

Head coach, Jose Peseiro invited 23 players for the encounter, including captain, Ahmed Musa and Serie A top scorer, Victor Osimhen, who led Napoli to the Scudetto in the recently-concluded season.

Ahead of their departure to Monrovia, where the Stars of Sierra Leone will host them, the Super Eagles are camped at the Eko Hotels in Lagos, Daily Post reports.

The team has held their training sessions at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Onikan before their departure.

While having dinner on Thursday night, Mr Macaroni was the special guest who entertained the superstars. Asked why he came alone without his 'wife' - Mummy Wa - the comedian said he had to hide her from the players.

“Mummy Wa? Now, when you are coming to a gathering of legends, I had to hide my wife because you are the number one suspect. You are doing well… Super Eagles, first, let me say it’s a great honour to be standing before you. I must take a bow because you are all legends… All of you.”

His comment was met with peals of laughter from the Super Eagles players, who appreciated his humour.

Mr Macaroni releases Hakimi skit

Sports Brief previously reported on Mr Macaroni releasing a controversial skit to get his legions of social media followers buzzing.

Daddy Wa, his 'wife' Mummy Wa, and his best friend Korexx, explained why he kept transferring his wealth to his beloved mother.

The eight-minute clip mirrored the trending story of Paris Saint-Germain star, Achraf Hakimi, who is embroiled in a cheating scandal.
