Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that moving to Saudi Arabia has turned out differently than he has hoped for, following his first season with Al-Nassr.
The Portuguese superstar joined the Saudi Pro League club after terminating his contract with Premier League giants, Manchester United in December 2022.
According to Tribal Football, Ronaldo has now named two factors he has struggled with since arriving in the Middle East.
"The biggest difference I have found in Saudi is obviously the heat and adapting schedules to train later in the day when it is cooler. Every league and country is different, and I am very proud to have experienced three different leagues in Europe (and won titles in them all)," he commented.
Ronaldo had a productive season with Al-Nassr, scoring 14 goals in his debut campaign, although the club failed to win any silverware in his first term there.

Meanwhile, football freestyle star, Do Kim Phuc has hailed Portuguese superstar, Ronaldo as the spiritual leader of Al-Nassr in a recent interview, Goal reports.
Phuc was taken aback by the veteran's leadership qualities at a training session, explaining the 37-year-old dictated and encouraged his teammates throughout.
Ronaldo’s decision to move to Saudi Arabia has cleared a path for other big-name superstars like Karim Benzema and, most recently Ngolo Kante to join him.
Ronaldo explains SIUUU celebration
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on the meaning of Ronaldo's SIUUU celebration, which the veteran first used at the 2014 Ballon d'Or gala after pipping Lionel Messi to the award.
A year before that, the Portuguese star casually did the celebration during a pre-season game for Man United against Chelsea and it would become a global phenomenon.
However, Ronaldo - a five-time Ballon d'Or winner - has since admitted that his goal-scoring celebration has become more famous than even he could have envisioned.
