Super Eagles players honoured Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen and Enyimba FC's Finidi George and Olorunleke Ojo on June 13, after the trio won league titles at their respective clubs in the 2022/23 season.
Osimhen was the star of the season in the Italian top flight A, netting 26 goals for the Naples side and helping the club win the Scudetto after 33 years.
To crown it all, the former Lille strongman also ended last season as the Serie A's highest goal-scorer, becoming the first African to win the league's Golden Boot prize.
There has been speculation surrounding Osimhen's future at Napoli, with clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain all said to be interested in his services.
Enyimba's George, Ojo also honoured
Former Nigerian international, George led Enyimba to glory in the 2022/23 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), following the six-team league playoffs in Lagos recently.
The abridged league saw 20 teams divided into two groups, with the sides that ended first, second, and third in each group qualifying for the playoff stages.
According to a video on Twitter, and the report by Daily Post, Enyimba goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo also got the same treatment. He was in fine form last season for his team during the Nigerian league season.
