The French superstar has caught the attention of clubs like Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United with his stunning statement to AFP, in which he confirmed he would not sign a new contract with the Parisians.

However, as reported by SB Nation, he has firmly asserted his intention to remain in Paris this summer.

The 24-year-old took to the micro-blogging app, Twitter, today to clarify his immediate plans in response to a post by French media outlet, Le Parisien.

"LIES... The bigger the noise, the more it spreads. I have already stated that I will stay at PSG next season, where I am extremely content."

On Monday, Mbappe communicated to the French champions his decision not to activate a contract extension option beyond 2024, per Evening Standard.

As a result, PSG seems open to the possibility of selling him during the summer transfer window to prevent losing the striker for nothing as a free agent.

However, given the strained relationship between the two clubs, it appears highly unlikely the Parisians would engage in any negotiations with Real Madrid.
