Davies signed for the Bavarians from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019 and has quickly become one of the most exciting lateral defenders in the world.

According to Sky Germany, Alaba has been advocating for Davies’ potential signing by Real Madrid.

The Canada international is highly rated for his blistering pace and athleticism and Real Madrid, in particular, are ready to pounce on him.

Los Blancos signed Ferland Mendy from Lyon in the summer of 2020 but are allegedly in the market for another left-back, with Davies said to be the club's leading target.

The teenager scored 12 times in 81 appearances for Vancouver before arriving at the Allianz Arena.

Alphonso Davies' biggest fear

Bayern Munich defender, Alphonso Davies has finally opened up on the challenges he faced after he missed almost 5-months of football action when he was diagnosed with an inflammatory heart condition.

Sports Brief reported that the 21-year-old Canadian had suffered complications after contracting Covid-19 during the winter summer break of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season.

According to ESPN, Davies revealed the whole experience was scary for him as a player as he feared his football career was over as there was no time frame for his return.
