Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has landed in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, ahead of his performance at the UEFA Champions League final.
The Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling singer, songwriter, and producer will co-headline the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick-Off Show by Pepsi at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium on June 10.
The Last Last hit-maker will perform to more than 75,000 fans, who will be there to watch the epic cracker between Manchester City and Inter Milan.
Pep Guardiola will hope to complete a treble by winning the title for the English club, but it would be a tough task against the three-time champions.
Ahead of the encounter, Burna Boy arrived in Istanbul by a private jet and was welcomed by the organisers of the event.
He said, via UEFA's official website:
"The world isn't ready for what we have in store. As a huge football fan myself, I know it doesn't get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League!"
For this reason, the Nigerian musician said he was excited to be performing at this year's final.
"Music and football are the ultimate combination, so you already know I'll be bringing the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world isn't ready for what we have in store!" he added.
Burna Boy will become the first-ever African to perform at the Champions League final show, following up on his appearance at the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend's half-time show.
