The head coach of the South African national football team, Hugo Broos has named his final 23-man squad to face Morocco in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the FNB Stadium on June 17.
The 2023 tournament in Ivory Coast was moved from June and July this year to early next year, due to weather concerns in the West African nation.
Superstars like Percy Tau, Teboho Mokoena and Bongokuhle Hlongwane will lead the Bafana Bafana onslaught against the Atlas Lions, who finished fourth at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Announcing the squad on Thursday afternoon, June 8, Broos assured South Africans the team was formidable.
He told SABC, via Times Live:
“I think we have a squad in the true meaning of the word - we have a team.”
Broos held a training camp for the mostly local-based players in his preliminary squad in Johannesburg this week.
