Lionel Messi could be set for a massive reunion with former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Sergio at his new Major League Soccer club Inter Miami.
After ending his 14-year stint with the Catalan club and helping them win the La Liga title, Sergio Busquets is currently without a club, while Suarez plies his trade in Brazil with Gremio.
According to Caught Offside, Inter Miami hopes the signing of Messi will convince Busquets and Suarez to sign with the MLS outfit this summer.
The six-time Ballon d’Or winner has announced his decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain after the 2022/23 season for Inter Miami on a free transfer.
Messi, Suarez, and Busquets were part of the successful Barcelona squads that won a continental treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League in 2008–09 and 2014–15.

Barca president Joan Laporta is set to work with Jorge Messi, Messi’s father and representative, to promote a proper tribute for the 35-year-old forward who spent 17 years at Camp Nou.
Laporta understood and respected Messi's decision not to return to Barcelona as he wants to compete in a league with fewer demands, further away from the spotlight and the pressure he has been subject to in recent years.
