As noted by renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ahli are one of two sides interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The side, managed by the South African tactician, returns to the Saudi Pro League after winning the Yelo League title.

The Chelsea man will leave the English Premier League side at the end of the season, but there is yet to be a word on where he could end up next. Aubameyang has also been linked with a move back to Barcelona, a team he started the previous season with.

As noted by Talk Sport, Auba was even awarded a La Liga winners medal despite playing just eight minutes for the side.

Saudi football attracts big stars

The Saudi Arabian league has attracted much interest since Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr.

The Portuguese superstar wants other stars to join him in the league and appears to be getting his wish as Karim Benzema has also decided to make a move. Benzema will join Al-Ittihad from Real Madrid.

As noted by The Mirror, Lionel Messi, Roberto Firmino, and Ilkay Gundogan are also on the Saudi shortlist.

Pitso hasn't been paid

Pitso Mosimane is not having the best of times in Saudi Arabia.

The South African tactician has enjoyed success at the club in the league, but things haven’t been the easiest off the field, Sports Brief reported.

Pitso's job is not guaranteed for next season as the club looks to replace him, and Jingles also recently revealed that he and his team had not been paid a salary since January.
