Mason Mount was cornered to address the intense rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
Mount, who has one year left on his current Chelsea deal, is said to have agreed terms already with United and is now ready to dump his boyhood club for the red shirt.
The Chelsea midfielder, however, steered clear of the reports after Sky Sports F1 reporter Martin Brundle asked him outrightly during the grid walk at the Barcelona Grand Prix on June 4.

The 24-year-old was among the high-profile football stars who trooped to the Iberian country to watch another leg of the Formula 1 season. Other notable stars at the event included PSG duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, Aymeric Laporte, and Mount's teammates Reece James and Ben Chilwell.
Mount elected to focus on his holidays after what has been a poor season for Chelsea. The Blues swapped managers four times but still finished in 12th place, their worst-ever finish in 29 years.
"I'm here to just enjoy this race today, amazing day. Can't wait to watch it here."
Chelsea and Manchester United fans were quick to note that he did not deny nor confirm the rumours, which means it remains a big possibility that he might leave this summer.
He was earlier seen conversing with reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, who won the race to pull clear of his teammate Sergio Perez in the leadership standings. Mercedes duo, Lewis Hamilton and George Rusell finished in P2 and P3, respectively.

Sports Brief has reported that United have already opened talks with Chelsea over a deal for Mount, with the Chelsea midfielder seemingly certain to leave his boyhood club after failing to agree a new contract.
Be that as it may, the Manchester club will have to contend with competition from Arsenal and Liverpool in their pursuit of the Chelsea academy graduate.
