- At full time, Haaland had one message to his teammates as they kept their treble hopes alive
Manchester City ace Erling Haaland showed his hunger for success, moments after his side won the FA Cup at the expense of Manchester United.
The 22-year old had a fairly quiet game on Saturday, June 3 as captain Gundogan carried his team to victory with two goals, including the fastest strike in FA Cup history.
Prior to the game, Haaland made the bold statement that he “would do everything he could” to ensure his side walked away with a treble.
And it seems the entire City team share the same mentality, as they proved too good for United at Wembley.
With a crunch Champions League final against Inter Milan on the horizon, Haaland is clearly not willing to lose focus, and he had some motivating words for his teammates immediately after full time.
In a video doing rounds online, Haaland can be heard saying, “One more, one more” to his teammates, possibly referring to the Champions League final.
As far as his form is concerned, the Norwegian has fallen off in recent weeks, although his presence has always proven to be a menace for opponents, as was the case today.
