Man City players celebrate becoming Premier League champions again
FootballAllardyce Tells Ten Hag Two Players That Will Help Man Utd Win Premier League Title Next Season
- Erik ten Hag has taken Manchester United a notch higher in his first season
- He broke the club’s trophy drought with the Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle
- United could win the second trophy of the season when they line up for the FA Cup final
Sam Allardyce is foreseeing a big achievement for Manchester United next season if Erik ten Hag signs two players from Premier League clubs.
The Dutch tactician’s first season at Old Trafford has seen steady growth in the club’s on-pitch fortunes. He won the Carabao Cup, made the top four and could add the FA Cup today if he beats Manchester City.
United are already aiming higher ahead of next season when competing in the UEFA Champions League, but they must first reinforce their squad.
The club has a robust transfer list, but it is not as straightforward because of impending new ownership, with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe the leading contenders to replace the Glazers family.
Allardyce gives United transfer advice
Former Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce, relieved of his duties after relegating the club, is back on talking terms, and United are his first target.
He named two players the Red Devils should go for and would immediately elevate them to title contenders against their rivals next season.
“I absolutely think that if Manchester United sign Declan Rice and Harry Kane, then they would be second favourites to win the Premier League,” he told William Hill via Metro UK.
“If Harry Kane and Declan Rice were both through the middle for United, then they’d be fighting for spots one and two in the league,”
According to Sky Sports, both are on Manchester United’s radar, and Harry Kane is seen as a priority target. Both will cost at least £100m each as West Ham and Tottenham hold out for a huge payday.

FootballShaw sets target for United
Sports Brief reported that full-back Luke Shaw set astonishing targets for United ahead of next season after a progressive year under ten Hag.
The English player relished the feeling of winning a trophy for the first time in a long while and wants the club to aim for the big trophies next season, including the Premier League title, which they have not won in 10 years.
