Interesting footage has now shown how Jose Mourinho conceded defeat in the Europa League final even before the final penalty was taken.
The clash between AS Roma and Sevilla, at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 31, was dubbed as a tie between an unstoppable force and an immovable object.
This was due to Mourinho's 100 per cent record in European records and Sevilla's similar record in Europa League finals.
At the end of the night, it was the Special One's record that was ruined the veteran manager lost his first final in Europe in 20 years.
A Gianluca Mancini own-goal cancelled out Paulo Dybala's strike in the first half, with the game going all the way to a penalty shootout.
Sevilla, Roma play to penalties
Lucas Ocampos and Bryan Cristante scored the first penalty kicks for their respective teams.
Lamela hammered in the second one for Sevilla, but Mancini saw his effort for Roma saved by the lingering leg of Yassine Bounou.
Ivan Rakitic extended the Spanish side's advantage with their third kick before Roger Ibanez missed another one for the Giallarossi to take the game to match point.
Gonzalo Montiel stepped up, but his first effort was stopped by Rui Patricio. Anthony Taylor ordered the penalty to be retaken after replays showed the keeper was off his line before the ball was struck.
Just before the Argentine went in for his second attempt, Mourinho approached the Sevilla huddle and congratulated opposition coach, Jose Mendilibar.

However, he appeared to appreciate Mourinho's gesture and as the Special One left the area, Montiel sent Patricio the wrong way to extend Sevilla's wins to seven in the second-fiddle competition.
Mourinho's feud with Anthony Taylor
Later on, as Sports Brief reported, Mourinho was spotted hurling obscenities at referee, Anthony Taylor after AS Roma lost the Europa League final to Sevilla on May 31.
The Portuguese boss was far from happy with some of the decisions made by the English referee, who has had a number of run-ins with the coach in the Premier League.
