South African professional coach Pitso Mosimane who is in charge of Al Ahli Saudi FC has stated emphatically that he got a proposal to take over at Al Zamalek stressing that he turned the offer down.
With the future of Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahli not yet sorted, it is expected that many clubs would want to have the signature of the 58-year-old who won the CAF Champions League title three times.
Zamalek are direct rivals to Al Ahly and showing interest in Pitso Mosinane means that they want to take advantage of the situation.
According to the reports on See News and Snl24, Pitso Mosimane explained that he rejected the deal from Zamalek because it was not the best for him.
Pitso Mosimane rejects Zamalek
''I received an offer from the Egyptian club Zamalek but this time it is not appropriate for me to accept the offer. If the circumstances were different, I would have wanted to continue with Al-Ahly of Egypt.
''In my contract with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, there is a clause to renew the contract for a season but the club's management did not contact me in this regard and I would like to stay in the Asian Continent.''
