Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, after a long season with the English Premier League giants.
The 21-year-old who represents England at international level was born to Nigerian parents in London and has since been visiting the West African nation.
Saka enjoyed his best season in the just ended campaign after helping Arsenal finish second in the league.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the Arsenal star was welcomed by a huge crowd in Lagos as he arrives for a visit.
Saka is expected to spend some weeks in Nigeria before returning to England for the UEFA Nations League as well as pre-season for the 2023/24 season.
The talented winger was by far Arsenal's best player last season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in the English Premier League.
He was rewarded with a new long term deal at the end of the campaign.
"I'm just really happy," said Saka, as quoted by the BBC.
"There's been a lot of talking and it's been a while, but I'm here now. I think this is the right club, the right place to make the next step. It's a beautiful club - look where we are.
"For me, it's about achieving my personal ambitions - how much I push myself and demand from myself each game, week in, week out. Then I have all the right people around me in terms of family, and when I come to the training ground, my team-mates, the coaching staff."

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that Bukayo Saka has opened up on the atmosphere within the Arsenal dressing room after they lost the Premier League title.
The Gunners looked on course to secure this season's Premier League crown after a dominant run of form that had seen them top the standings for the better part of the campaign.
However, Mikel Arteta's charges fell short in that attempt, with a string of poor performances and results in the closing stages of the season denying them the opportunity to lift the trophy.
