What does the future hold for Pitso Mosimane?
After leading Al Ahli Saudi to the Yelo League title, Pitso's time at the club appeared to be over.
As noted by Goal, the club's president, Walid Moaz, confirmed that they would decide Jingles' future after the season's final game.
"After the last game in the league, we will decide at that time whether or not the coach will continue," Moaz said.
"Pitso Mosimane performed well with the team, but the ambition is greater," he added.
Mosimane was then linked with a move away from the side, with many teams showing interest. The South African tactician has now hinted that he will stay with the side for at least another season.
As noted by Soccer Laduma, Mosimane revealed he would be coaching the side in the Saudi Arabian Pro League next season.
"I have a clause in my contract, that if I manage to gain promotion with the club, it will automatically be extended for another season. I do not intend to change it," he said after the club's final game of the season.
Al Ahli have other ideas
The Saudi club's management has been looking for a more high-profile manager now that the side has been promoted.
iDiskiTimes reported that the side are interested in bringing in Juventus boss, Massimiliano Allegri, and are also considering making a move for Fulham coach Marco Silva.
With Mosimane unwilling to leave, and the club looking to find someone new, where the South African manager is bound for next season remains a mystery.
