Inter Milan goalkeeper, Andre Onana said the team will 'die on the pitch' when they face Manchester City in the final of the UEFA Champions League on June 10.
Onana has been in scintillating form for the Nerazzurri, keeping eight clean sheets as the Italian giants reached the final for the first time in ten years.
Although Onana admits City have been the best team in Europe this season, he believes Inter Milan have what it takes to shock the newly-crowned Premier League champions.
"We are going to face perhaps the best team in the world [Man City]. They play very good football, but it's a final. We will go there to make history, for us and for Inter. I can't promise victory, but I can promise that we are going to die on the pitch… Finals are not played, they are won," he said, as quoted AllezLesLions.
Onana asked for permission to travel to Cameroon after the game against Atalanta in the Serie A on Saturday.
The former Ajax shot-stopper has already won the Coppa Italia with Inter this season, as reported by the BBC.
