Brazil football icon Rivaldo has urged Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar to consider joining Manchester United.
Neymar has been linked with a potential move to the Premier League this summer, with Brazilian compatriot and United midfielder Casemiro acting as a 'pseudo' middle man.
The Brazilian superstar has endured a difficult past few months after enjoying a brilliant start to the soon-to-end 2022-23 season. He hasn't played since the end of February after suffering an ankle injury which has hampered his campaign.
According to GOAL, the Ligue 1 leaders have reportedly run out of patience with Neymar and are prepared to place him on the transfer list this summer.

Weighing in on the reports, Rivaldo, who helped Brazil win their fifth World Cup trophy in 2022, believes it will be an 'excellent step' in Neymar’s career to join the Red Devils from PSG.
“I am in favour of Neymar transferring to Manchester United,” Rivaldo wrote in his Betfair column as quoted by Daily Post.
“In recent days, there has been talk that he might sign for the Premier League giants at the end of the season and, unlike when he left Barcelona for PSG, this time, I am in favour of this move.
He added: “In 2017, I didn’t think it was beneficial for him to leave for France, although I understood his reasons. But now I am convinced that playing in the Premier League with Manchester United would be an excellent step in his career.”
