
Rohr emerges the 24th highest earning World Cup coach

Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr will be the 24th highest paid coach at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
According to a report published by Dutch media outfit Zommin TV the German tactician is currently earning £436,600 per annum.
Rohr is third behind Egypt's Hector Cuper who earns £1.30m per annum and Herve Renard of Morocco who takes home £681,000.

On the list Cuper is the 11th highest paid coach while Renard is ranked 21st. Tunisia chief coach, Nabil Maaloul, is the fourth best paid coach with £305,500 per annum.
Aliou Cisse of Senegal is the lowest-paid of the 32 coaches in Russia this summer with a £174,500 yearly pay.
Joachim Low will be the highest earner in Russia when the Germans defend their title. He earns £3.31m and he is closely followed by Brazil's Tite and Didier Deschamps of France, earn £3.02m respectively.
Spain’s Julen Lopetegui, Stanislav Cherchesov of Russia and Portugal’s Fernando Santos, Iran’s Carlos Queiroz, Gareth Southgate of England, Jorge Sampaoli of Argentina and Oscar Tabarez complete the top ten.

Nigeria will be playing in her sixth World Cup tournament and have been grouped alongside Argentina, Croatia, and Iceland.
Meanwhile NaijSports reported the how the Super Eagles were defeated 2-0 by Serbia and won the other friendly to Poland by a lone goal in last two warm-up matches played in March.
The Super Eagles will play pre-World Cup friendlies against Democratic Republic of Congo, England and the Czech Republic before the competition kicks off proper.
