Barcelona's former player, Douglas Pereira, is in hot water in Brazil after getting arrested for firing an authorised gun in a car park and disposing of the firearm.
The 32-year-old, who had been drinking alcohol at the time, fired the gun into the air when security approached him to leave the facility after he crossed paths with several people aggressively.
According to Football Espana, Douglas was detained two days later, on the 23rd of April, by military police and released later that day on the condition that he must not change his address during the legal process.
The ex-Barca player is also mandated to attend all of his court proceedings by the authorities in Brazil.
Douglas, who is presently clubless after being released by Turkish outfit Besiktas last summer, joined Barcelona for €4m but only made eight appearances for the Catalan giants in three seasons.
Training with Messi was priceless
Meanwhile, Douglas Pereira revealed that training with superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar was priceless while reflecting on his time at Barcelona, Marca reports.
The Brazilian joined Barcelona in 2014 but largely failed to impress during his time at Camp Nou before later having spells at Benfica and Besiktas during his time in Europe.
Pereira also admitted that the criticisms of his performance at Barcelona got to him, but that training with the world's best players was a privilege.
