Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount is facing a difficult time on and off the pitch, being at loggerheads with Blues bosses over his contract renewal while a woman has pled guilty to stalking him in court.
Mount broke into the Chelsea first team during the club’s transfer ban in the 2019/20 season under Blues legend and current boss, Frank Lampard’s first tenure.
He remained an integral part of the team after Lampard’s departure, contributing massively to winning three trophies under Thomas Tuchel, including the UEFA Champions League.
He could be set for a departure at the end of the current season due to a contract renewal dispute with the club, despite his current deal expiring in June 2024, with Manchester United ready to offer £55 million, according to Goal.
Influencer guilty of stalking Mount
According to the Evening Standard, 21-year-old model, Orla Sloan, has pleaded guilty at the Westminster Magistrates Court to stalking and sending messages to the academy graduate.
Sloan and Mount reportedly met at a house party organised by Ben Chilwell in November 2020 and dated briefly before the 24-year-old ended the relationship.
The TikToker did not relent after the relationship and kept sending messages through Instagram and WhatsApp, using different mobile numbers to continually text the player.
She also alleged that she was pregnant by Brighton midfielder, Billy Gilmour, despite the two never sharing a private moment, which the Scottish international claimed affected his form during his time in London.
Sloan was granted bail until a sentencing hearing fixed for June 10, with a warning from the judge that her case could be escalated to a crown court and could face a jail term.
