The racist chants did not stop, and it eventually spilled over into a full confrontation between Real Madrid and Valencia players, as reported by SportBible.
After an altercation with opposing striker, Hugo Duro, 22-year-old Vinicius was sent off late in the game to add on to what was a miserable night for him.
The Brazilian later tweeted after the game suggesting 'racism was normal' in La Liga as dozens of stars across the football spectrum showed support towards him.
"It wasn't the first time, nor the second, nor the third. Racism is normal in LaLiga. In football they think it's normal, the federation does too - and the opponent encourages it,” he tweeted, as reported by Sky Sports.
