Premier League side Newcastle United have reportedly joined the race to sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze who currently plays for Spanish giants Villarreal.
Following his impressive performances this season for Villarreal, clubs like Real Madrid and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing the Super Eagles winger.
Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximim is set to leave Newcastle United at the end of the season and the club's chiefs see Samuel Chukwueze as a better replacement according to the report on Complete Sports.
Chukwueze's goals this season
Chukwueze has registered 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal.
The 23-year-old also has one year remaining on his contract at Villarreal.
Sports Brief spoke with Nigerian reporter Kola Daniel who is close to Chukwueze as he claimed that a move to the Premier League won't be a bad one.

The club has hailed the Super Eagles man for his landmark achievement.
It was on April 27 that Chukwueze marked his double-century game for the Spanish side against Espanyol, which ended in a 4-2 win for the 'Yellow Submarine'.
