Bukayo Saka has opened up on how Cristiano Ronaldo impacted his life while growing up, with the Arsenal star now one of the most exciting prospects in English football.
Saka has played a starring role in Arsenal's surprising Premier League title hunt this season. It currently looks like they will miss out to Manchester City, but the strides they have made under Mikel Arteta cannot be underestimated.
He has scored 13 goals and set up 11 in what has been his best-ever goal returns season tally in the Premier League.
The forward has now seemingly settled the GOAT debate as far as he is concerned after he chose Ronaldo over Lionel Messi. In an interview with the club's website, Saka spoke highly of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Football"I used to love Cristiano Ronaldo. A lot of other kids my age used to love watching him as well.
“The different things he could do on the pitch, his skills. The way he took free kicks, too, I think a lot of us used to try to emulate that."
At that time, Ronaldo was plying his trade with Real Madrid, where he led successful nine years, winning four Ballon d'Ors and Champions League titles, among many other accolades.
Saka's remarks come at a time when Ronaldo's biggest fan, Piers Morgan, wanted him to join Arsenal. Manchester United terminated Ronaldo's contract and he ended up joining Al-Nassr.
Saka, meanwhile, is still in talks about extending his deal at the Emirates Stadium. There are no real concerns about the 21-year-old not putting to paper a new deal, with the Mirror reporting that there has been a breakthrough in negotiations.
