Juventus star, Paul Pogba has cost the club a staggering amount of money in wages amid a tumultuous season for the Frenchman.
Pogba initially failed to feature at the start of the season as he recovered from a stubborn knee injury that also kept him out of the 2022 World Cup.
He finally made a recovery and was eligible for selection on Thursday during the Europa League semi-final clash against Sevilla, where he played a crucial role in levelling the tie.
However, barely 72 hours later, he was dealt another blow as his first start for Juventus this season only lasted 23 minutes.
Against Cremonese, Pogba took the ball on the edge of the penalty area to unleash a long range shot before going down with his hands on his head.
Massimiliano Allegri had no choice but to take the Frenchman out to be replaced by Nicolo Fagioli, as the latest injury setback summed up the 2018 World Cup winner’s fortunes this season.
How much Pogba cost Juventus
According to stats by Transfermarkt, Pogba has featured for mere 137 minutes this campaign. This is a far cry from his first stint at Juventus, where he played 178 games, scoring 34 goals and providing 40 assists.
In the wake of his latest setback, Gazetta Dello Sport made an interesting comparison of the embattled French star's wages against the minutes he has played this season.
Since he has only played 161 minutes in the 2022/23 campaign, Pogba has reportedly made €65,000 a minute.

Allegri’s take on Pogba
Despite this challenges with injuries this season, Pogba appears to still have the faith of Juve boss, Massimiliano Allegri.
“We are all disappointed, especially as he was doing very well,” Allegri said after the Cremonese game.
“It’s sad as he made so many sacrifices to recover, now has to stop again after feeling that pain in the quadricep.”
