Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari, supported the treatment of an ailing Red Star Belgrade fan after donating his April Player of the Month award prize money.

The 24-year-old Ghana winger was named the best player in the Month of April in the Serbian Super Liga after scoring four goals and providing an assist in five matches.

Bukari also received a prize money of 100,000 Serbian Dinars, which is equivalent to $927.

The money has been transferred to the treatment of Ana Vukadinović, a fan suffering from a rare skin disease known as epidermolysis bullosa, per the Red Star Belgrade's official website.

Meanwhile, Bukari continued with his outstanding form this season, scoring another goal over the weekend as Red Star Belgrade defeated Vojvodina in the Serbian league.

The World Cup star helped Red Star successfully defend their league title, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists, according to Transfermarkt.

Red Star Belgrade are also through to the semi-final of the Serbian Cup.

His manager, Milos Milojevic, was also named coach of the month after leading Red Star to four wins and a draw in April.

Bukari speaks on meeting Ronaldo

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana winger Osman Bukari has revealed that he requested Ronaldo's jersey before the game against Portugal at the 2022 World Cup.

Bukari, who was making his debut on the grandest stage, scored in the 3-2 defeat to the Selecao.
