Chelsea Women did the club proud after beating Manchester United Women 1-0 to win the Vitality Women’s FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
The men’s team has been underwhelming this season and are certain to finish in the bottom half of the Premier League table for the first time in almost 30 years.

According to BBC Sports, the women’s team achievement came before a record crowd for a domestic women’s game in England. A crowd of 77,390 people attended the final - an increase of almost 30,000 from last year.

Chelsea fans laud women’s victory
According to Goal, the last time the club went trophyless was the 2019/20 season. Coincidentally, Frank Lampard was the manager then, even though the club was under a transfer embargo.
