Italian striker Mario Balotelli has heaped praises on Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen after winning the Serie A with Napoli.

The Super Eagles striker has been the main man in Napoli's league triumph, with his 23 goals powering the Gli Azzuris to their first Scudetto in 33 years.

With the league wrapped up, Osimhen will be hoping to finish the season as top scorer.

In a chat with former Inter Milan and Serie A winner, Balotelli, the Italy forward revealed to Osimhen that the magnitude of his success with Napoli will take years to sink in.

“Trust me, you did something incredible. You still don’t know what you did, trust me,” Balotelli told Osimhen on Instagram, as quoted by Vanguardngr.com.

“Now you’ve won, you will realize in years, not tomorrow, next year but in ten years you’ll understand what you did. It’s unbelievable, seriously," he added.

Osimhen's future in Naples will be decided at the end of the season with German giants Bayern Munich and French side Paris-Saint Germain interested in his services.
